Meditation is much more than sitting with your eyes closed. The constant practice is to keep an eye on each posture, whether sitting, walking, standing or lying down. At the end of your sitting meditation, do not think that you are leaving the meditation, but that you are changing positions.

If you see meditation this way, you will have peace. Wherever you are, you will have this attitude of practice with you constantly. You pay attention to what is happening inside you, you are aware of your breathing and you let thoughts pass without clinging, as if they were passing clouds in the vastness of sky that you are.

The path of the heart is simple, but it is common that the mind takes full attention. When you become more aware of this fact, you do not need to lose yourself in so many details, you accept more, you judge less. You observe the ever-changing nature of opinions, of what you like or dislike and let things be. You become more neutral. This is the practice of living in a meditative state, alert and in peace, you allow everything to arise and leave in your silence, you inhabit your true being. Meditation is something you carry with you.
